Woodland Coyotes

Coyotes are the most prolific predators in America. My daughter regularly saw them in Portland residential areas. In Minnesota they are usually seen running for their lives since they are shot on sight in rural areas. These two camera trap clips show them in a more relaxed setting. In the second one you can hear a turkey scolding it.

  1. Ah, Dale you are too kind. Up north once we stopped in a small 1 block town and the lady serving us told us about a 'wolf' that came into the street in front of where we were sitting and lured a local dog into chasing it. It was of course her pet dog and she tried desperately calling the dog, but it kept barking at the wolf in the distance until there was a 'yelp' followed by silence. Coyotes are pretty crafty also. Hah!
